Trinity Lutheran Church and School

Hi Everyone -

First, a word of encouragement.   Next Sunday we have a very special guest preacher coming to Trinity Lutheran Church in Freistattt.  The Rev. Dr. Wallace Schulz will be our Mission Festival Speaker next Sunday at 10:00 with a presentation during the Basket Lunch to follow.   It is a rare privilege to have someone of this caliber preaching here at Trinity.  So, I would like to encourage all of you to come hear a very gifted preacher share the Good News of Jesus Christ with us next Sunday!

And on Sunday, 26 September 2010 we will be celebrating 135 years of Christian Education provided by our own Trinity Lutheran School, just one of the many ministries of our congregation.   I would also encourage you to come and celebrate with us on such a wonderful occasion.

And just in case you are interested, I had a wonderful trip up to Wisconsin.  I officiated at the wedding of some dear friends who were getting married in Green Bay.  Plus, I also had the opportunity & privilege to worship at the church that I did my Vicarage at ten years ago. It was great to see so many friends, participate in such a special day, and also to once again worship at St. James Lutheran Church in Shawano, WI.

And last, but certainly not least, I wanted to remind all of you that even after (almost) two years,  I still consider it an honor and a privilege to serving as the Pastor here at Trinity Lutheran Church in Freistatt.  This is truly a special, and unique, church, school, & community.   And I pray that our gracious God keep us together for years to come.
