Where has the time gone??

Hi Everyone!
Wow - I can't believe Thanksgiving has passed, and that we are gearing up for Christmas!
I hope you all had a blessed Thanksgiving this past Thursday. We have much to be thankful for living in the United States. In my opinion, one of the greatest things we have is the opportunity to worship our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. And I pray that more people realize that and take advantage of the various opportunities to worship.
And speaking of worship opportunities, I would like to remind everyone that Mid-Week Advent Services start with coming Wednesday at 7:30 with a 'pre-service meal' hosted by our Senior High Youth Group.
Unfortunately, I am extremely short on time, so I need to sign off for now. But please stay tuned!! I promise I will be "blogging" a bit more frequently in the future!!
In HIS Service,
Pastor B
p.s. One of the other "things" that I continue to be thankful for is the opportunity to serve as your Pastor! This is my second Thanksgiving at Trinity, Freistatt, and I hope to be here for many more!!

Veteran's Day, plus
Hi Everyone!!
Just a quick note to send out a huge THANK YOU to our veterans on this Veteran's Day. Your service to our country is greatly appreciated!! And a THANK YOU also to our current heroes serving in the military!! To say that the United States has the greatest military on earth is, in my opinion, a huge understatement!! Keep up the good work - it is appreciated.
Also, I would like to pass along kudos to our Trinity Lady White Knights Basketball team!! The lost a heartbreaker tonight. I am extremely proud of the team members and their coaches.
Take care, God's Blessings, and looking forward to seeing all of you in church on Sunday morning.
In HIS Service,
Pastor B

Prayer Request
Hey Everybody -
Just a quick prayer request for the Gulf Coast!! Hurricane Ida is in the Gulf of Mexico, and heading for the Gulf Coast. Hurricanes rarely happen in November. We shall see what happens over the next 24 - 48 hours.
Many of you know my previous congregation was in Mandeville, LA - a stones throw from New Orleans. And after surviving - literally - Hurricanes Katrina (2005) & Gustav (2008), I have a soft spot for the folks that are in the way of Hurricane Ida.
Thanks ahead of time for the prayers!!
Take care, God's Blessings and have a GREAT WEEK!!! And hope to see you all back here on Sunday for Church next Sunday!!!
In HIS Service (and proudly serving as your Pastor),
Pastor B

Congratulations, plus

Greetings Everyone!!
First, my apologies for being a little slow on the blog update! Things have been a bit busy....but I think in a good way!!
Secondly, congratulations to our new members that we received through Adult Confirmation this past Sunday!! Welcome aboard! We are glad you chose to join our Church Family here at Trinity!!
Next, I have a small confession of sorts. As we celebrated All Saint's Day this past Sunday is was a little different this year than it was last year. Last year when we Commemorated / Remembered the Faithfully Departed I was still very new and didn't know any of the folks that had passed away during the previous year. Well, this year was definitely different because as I was reading the names I could remember something special about each one because I had gotten to know them. It was definitely more of a challenge getting through those names this year because of the relationships that were formed. Anyway.....before I carry on I change topics.
Last, but certainly not least, just the usual reminder that I continue to thoroughly enjoy being here and serving as your Pastor....even with the long hours and larger than anticipated work load!! I hope the Lord allows be to stay at Trinity for the long term!!!
Take care, God's Blessings, and have a great remainder of the week!! See you all here on Sunday for Church, if not before ;>).
In HIS Service,
Pastor B
