Thank You, plus
Hi Everyone -
A heartfelt Thank You to all of our Veterans! We would not have the liberties & freedoms we enjoy if it were not for you! So, thank you for your service & sacrifice!
Also, I think we set a record for the month of May! We had eight (8), that's right, eight (8) baptisms this month!! WOOHOO!! We are also five (5) ahead of the total number that we had for all of 2009. The Lord has truly blessed us here at Trinity!
I continue to consider myself fortunate & blessed to be serving as the 12th Pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church in Freistatt, MO. I hope the Lord continues to allow me to serve you well into the future!
Take care, God's Blessings, and have a safe & happy Memorial Day!! Remember to thank a Veteran!
Proudly Serving as Trinity's Shepherd,

Survival

Hi Everyone -
Well, we made it. The 135th academic year of Trinity Lutheran School has come & gone. What a year it was....and I truly mean that in a good way. It was really a fantastic year, capped off with two more baptisms during our Closing Chapel service, and a great 8th grade class trip. I wish I could say that Mrs. Kleiboeker & I survived, but that would not totally accurate. We had a great time with our 2010 graduates. This truly was a wonderful class...in fact, I already miss them.
However, just because school is over does not mean that things slow down at Trinity Lutheran Church!! We still have Vacation Bible School, a wedding, and the annual Church Picnic coming up in June. The Synodical Convention & Youth Gatherings are in July, and we have a wedding & Ernte Fest in August. I know Ernte Fest is not officially a Trinity event, but the Freistatt Lion's Club has a significant number of church members on it's roster. Plus, we start our 136th school year in August as well!!
I remain confident about the future of Trinity Lutheran Church & School. I think we are heading in the right direction.
Take care, God's Blessings, and hope to see you all in church on a regular basis over the summer months!!

Congratulations!!
Hey Everybody,
Just a quick note to congratulate all of Trinity's graduates! We had a fantastic turnout for Graduation Sunday. I realize that I've only been a part of your lives for a little less than two years, but I am still extremely proud of all of you! Along with participating in Trinity Lutheran School's graduation this past Wednesday, I also thoroughly enjoyed attending the high school graduations at Monett, Mt. Vernon, and Pierce City. And yes, I enjoyed all of the graduation parties as well . Trinity Lutheran Church has alot to be proud of, especially when it comes to our students!!
Take care, God's Blessings, and have a great week!!

Updates and some Random Thoughts

Hi Everyone -
I cannot believe how fast time seems to be flying by!! I suppose the old addage is true, time flies when you are having fun!!
However, for all the fun, I must admit there is a mix of emotions with our upcoming 8th grade graduation. I will definitely be missing our soon-to-be 8th grade graduates, and am sad to see them leaving. But at the same time I am extremely proud of them, and am glad to see them taking such a big step forward in their lives.
And, as of this writing, we are on track to have at least seven (7) baptisms just in the month of May!! Which is fantastic in & of itself, but the other neat item related to this is the fact that we will be surpassing the total number of baptisms that we had for the entire 2009 calendar year!! WOOHOO!!! That is fantastic news!!
I would also like to thank my Board of Elder's here at Trinity! It is nice to have a group of men, who for the most part, are taking their responsibility as Elder's seriously. They have been a huge asset to me as we have recently had to make some very difficult decisions.
Now....for a random thought or two. Many of you might already know that I am extremely proud to be a native Missourian, and even more proud to be serving such a wonderful congregation in my home state. However, I should admit that I have been impressed with Arizona over the last few weeks. They have taken a firm and much needed stance on the problem of illegal immigration. We all know that we are a nation of immigrants....but just as importantly, we are a nation of laws. And for those who think that we do NOT have a problem with illegal immigration should get their head out of the sand. I have also been impressed with a movement going through the Arizona State Legislature that would require proof of natural born citizenship for anyone wishing to have their name on the ballot in Arizona for President of the United States. Well, I suppose I should probably get off my political soapbox for now, lest I vent to much and get myself in trouble.
God's Blessings to all of our Mother's on this upcoming Mother's Day!!
Continuing to proudly serve as Trinity's Pastor,
Pastor B
